3. For what purposes do we use your data?

We only use your personal data for legitimate purposes. Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), we rely on different legal grounds depending on the context:

1.      To fulfil our contract with you: Processing and delivering orders; arranging payment, shipping and returns; responding to customer enquiries and warranty claims; and providing support. Without this data, we cannot complete the transaction you have requested.

2.      To meet legal obligations: Keeping accounting records, issuing invoices, and complying with consumer protection and warranty laws. We may also retain data for tax and audit purposes.

3.      For our legitimate interests: Improving our website, products and services; ensuring security and preventing fraud; maintaining records of your interactions; and communicating important information about your purchases. We balance these interests with your rights and freedoms.

4.      With your explicit consent: Sending marketing communications (email, SMS or push notifications), using non‑essential cookies or advertising pixels, and transferring data abroad where no other legal mechanism applies. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see “Your rights”).

We will not use your personal data for purposes that are incompatible with those listed above unless we obtain your permission or Turkish law allows us to do so.

4. Who do we share your data with?

We only share personal data as needed to operate our website and deliver the products and services you have requested. Recipients include:

·       Service providers: Our e‑commerce platform, payment processors, warehouse and fulfilment partners, IT providers, marketing and analytics suppliers, and authorised repair centres. They process data on our instructions to operate the website, process payments, deliver orders, host customer support, send emails and provide analytics. We ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place.

·       Shipping and logistics companies: To deliver your order and notify you about shipment status.

·       Professional advisers and auditors: Where necessary for legal, accounting or compliance reasons.

·       Public authorities: If required by law or a valid legal request, we may disclose data to courts, regulators or law enforcement. We may also disclose data to exercise or defend legal rights.

·       Corporate transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale or restructuring, personal data may be transferred to the new entity as part of our business assets, subject to the same protections.

We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not share sensitive payment information or government identifiers except as necessary for payment processing or required by law.

5. International data transfers

Our service providers may store or process personal data outside Türkiye (for example, in the European Union, Hong Kong or the United States). When we transfer data internationally, we ensure that the recipient provides an adequate level of data protection as required by KVKK. This may involve using the Turkish Data Protection Authority’s approved mechanisms (such as standard contractual clauses or binding corporate rules) or obtaining your explicit consent for the transfer. You may request further information about these safeguards via the contact details below.

6. How long do we keep your data?

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes listed above or to comply with our legal obligations. Typical retention periods include:

·       Order and account data: retained for at least seven years to meet tax, accounting and consumer law obligations, and to support warranty or after‑sales service.

·       Marketing data: retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, or for a reasonable period after last interaction. If you opt out, we keep a record of your contact details on a suppression list to ensure we honour your preferences.

·       Website usage data: retained for the durations specified in our Cookie Policy (e.g., session cookies may last only for a browsing session, while analytics cookies may last up to 24 months unless cleared).

When data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymise it, unless we are required to keep it for legal reasons. We periodically review our data to ensure we do not keep it longer than necessary.

7. How do we protect your data?

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. This includes encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure payment gateways, access controls, and regular security assessments. While no online service can guarantee absolute security, we continuously strive to protect your information. If we discover a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant Turkish authorities as required by law.

8. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, enable secure checkout, analyse site usage and deliver relevant advertising. Some cookies are necessary for the site to function (for example, to keep you logged in or remember items in your cart); others are used for analytics and marketing. Where required by law, we ask for your consent to use non‑essential cookies. For more details and to manage your cookie preferences, please refer to our separate Cookie Policy.

9. Your rights under KVKK

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

·       Right to request correction: If your data is incomplete or inaccurate, you may ask us to correct it.

·       Right to request deletion or anonymisation: You may request deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons for processing no longer exist, provided there is no conflicting legal obligation to retain it.

·       Right to object to processing: In certain circumstances, you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests.

·       Right to seek compensation: If you suffer damage due to unlawful processing, you may claim compensation.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. We may ask you to provide proof of identity to protect your information. We aim to respond to requests as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest as required by law.
